Resting amid olive groves and cypress trees on the Bodrum Peninsula’s serene north coast, Amanruya is a hillside retreat claiming breathtaking views. Impossibly romantic, it offers its own pebble beach, exquisite dining venues and free-standing guest pavilions with private pools and gardens.
Set on a sheltered hillside overlooking the Aegean Sea, Amanruya’s 75 square metre (807 square feet) Pool Pavilions enjoy a peaceful private garden and a private swimming pool from which to admire expansive ocean views.
Combining traditional Turkish and European architecture, the pavilion’s handmade ‘kilim’ rugs from Istanbul and mangal charcoal fireplace give the space a hint of charm, while a four-poster king-sized bed, living / dining area and large bathroom with twin vanities add a touch of modernity. A deep-soaking bathtub is perfectly positioned to share the open vistas, while a pergola with cushioned daybed and wooden chaise longue allow guests to make the most of the stunning natural setting. Constructed from local stone and wood, the pavilion’s white walls and marble flooring create a calming atmosphere in a serene location.
